Still waiting to find out where the stimulus check is... It was supposed to be mailed out on May 15th and still no check and no follow-up letter either... The stimulus helpline is a complete joke because if you actually get to the part where they play music and you think you're going to get somebody on the line as soon as someone comes on they hang up on you ....this is now happened four times... what are we supposed to do when we never get our money and we can't find out where it's at?

Finally got to a live person on the IRS stimulus helpline and then they said they had to transfer me to someone else and then they hung up on me and now you can't get another person on the line..

What do you mean by public assistance? Are you talking welfare from the state or federal benefits like disability SSI or SSDI? If you're on public assistance for low income you needed to use the non-filers portal in order to get your stimulus check... if it's Federal benefits then you didn't have to do anyting just have to wait on it. Unfortunately many are in the same situation with Federal benefits and not getting the stimulus check yet.

I dont Believe this... I know plenty of people on SSDI SSI social security that have gotten their stimulus check... My fiance is still waiting on his but that's probably because it's lost in the mail somewhere because he should have had a direct deposited on his Direct Express Card but it said it was getting mailed out and we moved so we had to put a change of address in so I think that's why it's being held up but in no way do I think we are being lied to... It does suck but I'm sure everyone will get their check if it is actually able to get to them

Kind of in the same situation... My fiance is on SSI and gets his monthly benefits to the Direct Express Card... Stimulus check should have been deposited on that card but instead the get my payment tool said he was being mailed out a check on May 15th... Because it said it was going to be direct deposited we didn't do anything and we also moved on May 1st we did put in a change of address but still no check in the mail... Can't talk to anybody to find out what's going on with it so I guess we're just chalking it up that really sucks!

Not true...i have friends on SSDI and they got their checks...

Rey Rivera... that may be some people's problem... But some of us did go to the non-filers form and tried to use it and weren't able to no... So it is kind of rude of you to call everybody lazy asses.. but I'm glad you were able to use it and got your money

Check mailed out May 15th...still no check...no one talk physically talk to...just gonna chalk it up...could really use it but tired of watching mail come and nothing in it...and now they are trying to pass another bill to give us money...$2400 just gonna vanish i guess...

My fiancee is having problems too...he has been on SSI for over a year with deposit to a Direct Express Card... SSI recipients are supposed to receive their stimulus check the same way they receive their monthly benefits... But on the get my payment portal it says he was being mailed out a check on May 15th... Still have not received a check but I'm wondering if he has a Direct Express Card why he's getting sent out a check...

As long as no one claims you as a dependent on their taxes then yes you are eligible...
