April hedgspeth Wrote: Hi everyone. So I submitted the non-filers claim on 4/16 and received an email shortly after staying that it was approved by the irs.. I entered my bank info as well for direct deposit. I have read on a few other threads that several people had submitted their non-filers claim on the same day as me and theirs changed from "payment status not available" to "direct deposit date scheduled for 4/30" and they received it the 29th. I know it gives possible reasons as to why I'm still getting this message but I know for a fact that I am eligible and my I am certain that my identity will be verified. Is anyone else having this issue? Maybe they're just behind on processing them.. I know it would definitely make me feel so much better if i weren't the only one with this issue.. Would brinv back hope that they are just behind. Please help!
Same issue as you, and i did someone else's the following day i did mine, he got payment deposited 4/30 (although no deposit like the rest of the people who spoke on that in other thread) but mine still says payment status not available, what in the fuck

I'm assuming millions of dollars can't be deposited all at once across the country to millions of bank accounts. I'm sure it takes time. I've heard scheduled dates from the 29th to the 1st so it's prob an ongoing non-stop of deposits over 3 days. Just my guess and wishful thinking.
Thank you for your response. Both on this thread, and the other one you replied to for me! Today is day 10. So. I am hoping something changes on the get my payment portal. U didn't recieve an email by chance once they did process it, did you? Like the one we got when they accepted it? I'm summing they don't waste there time with that! Lol..thank you again..really appreciated! You are only person I have gotten an answer from that had done the same thing as me for the same reason!

Thank you so much for that info..i had just read an article from yesterday and i was about to lose it cause it was in regards to who hadn't recieved there checks yet

Then, there are millions of low-income people who are not normally required to file tax returns that will have to take some action before receiving their stimulus money.

Generally, these are individuals who did not earn more than $12,200 last year or married couples who did not earn more than $24,400.

But they won't have to file a whole new form, as earlier guidance from the IRS suggested. Instead, it created an online tool for non-filers that asks for basic information including names, dates of birth, and Social Security numbers for the person filing and his or her dependents. They won't have to provide any income information.

The tool allows you to input bank account information for a direct deposit, or an address to receive a paper check.

But again, no timetable on how long that would take...lol.. so thank you so much!!!

When u used non filers was that because u hadn't filed taxes for those 2 yrs or ss, ssdi, railroad va or one of those reasons?

This might help. Found this in an article regarding the non-filers portal:

Even with the updates, you may still get a notification that says "Payment Status Not Available."

If you're still waiting on your stimulus money, here is an estimate of when more payments will be delivered.

    - In an update posted Sunday, the IRS said that if you have successfully entered your bank information "any day until noon on Tuesday, your payment date will be available beginning the following Saturday." If you miss the Tuesday deadline, you have to wait another week to get a payment date. Or, if your payment has already been processed, you'll get a check that could take up to 14 days to receive.

Thsts jilust for entering your direct deposit information! I entered my taxes claiming 0 for 2 yrs, so they gave to process those.. thsts what I'm wondering how long that'll take
