From what I was told, there are irs people answering tax return question s only.stimulus phone number has pre recorded messages as of now.

Been waiting too since 4 16.put my dd info on that day.since then says I quiafiy but no date yet.got to speak with irs today .he transferred over to stimulus dept.phone loop no rep to speak with.VERY SAD STILL WAITING CHECK

I was told by I R S this morning that stimulus phone number would be manned by live operators.he transferred me over goes into loop no option for representive.PLEASE HELP
