Wow, last year we got an increase of .003 from social security...for the mathematically challenged, that is 1/3 of one percent, which came to about $4 increase for me. This year, we got a 2.2% increase which was about $15 for me....and guess what? Last year, social security raised my insurance $4 and this year, they raised my medicare insurance exactly $15. So I have not had a real raise in over 9 years....if you get a raise, they just raise your medicare payments.
