I think the main reason people think that is because of his age. He's already our oldest president on election day.

Can someone explain how it's fair that the Dakota's, with a total population between the two states of 1,658,026 have four Senators, yet California, with a population of 39,368,078, has two? I can go on and on.

Bill Maher fan? Yeah me too. :)

You could have made this post in 1990. Or 1972. Or 1912. Or 1814. And so on. And the same will be true in 2026, 2052, 2077, etc. (I'm just pulling dates of thin air as examples, nothing historical to look into other than the point being made.)

I contend it should be on states to decide because of the way our system is setup. Federal government can't dictate everything from on high, unless we want another kind of govt? That said I don't like that my state lifted the mandate so soon.

I keep trying to use the IRS get my payment tool online and I keep messing up my address. It's a very finicky system so you have to input the exact postal verified address that they have on file or it doesn't work. Do it enough times and you get locked out.

Anyways the trick is to go to the UPS address validator page, enter your address, and they will spit out your 'suggested address' that's cleaned up and works with the IRS site! Hope that helps anyone that's been as frustrated as I have been with this site.

I'm for the idea if I end up paying the same, but that's hardly ever the case with new taxes.

And I am just happy not to have the name of our president on every single headline, every single day, and am enjoying the relative peace and quiet from the White House. For that, I approve.

Beyond that, I don't trust polling any more, sad to say.

I follow you. Still think it's been this bad at least since the Obama administration. Remember Mitch McConnel stone walling everything Obama tried to do, and then remember the Tea Party? I think those times were so far more frustrating that what I've seen Biden deal with thus far. He at least can get some stuff done because he says a tiebreaker majority in congress right now.

Biden put the goal out there for every state to be offering vaccines to every adult 18 or older by May 1st. And now it looks like pretty much every state is on pace to meet or exceed that target. Here in Texas we all get to register starting March 29th. And I've seen a ton of other states following suit aiming for the first week or two of April.

This is great news and means we are really close to all adults (that want it) getting vaccinated! Be sure and check on your state and let's get this nightmare over and done with already!

My perception is the country is more divided than ever. But I remember the congressional division during all the Obama years. That was just as bad if not far worse than Trump's 4 years or what we have seen so far for Biden.
