Just to be clear, when I say 72% of Americans approve of Biden's handling of vaccines I mean how Biden has handled the situation entirely, not just regarding the vaccines. In a recent national survey conducted by Ipsos it showed that just about 3/4 of the U.S. population approves how Biden has done so far. I'll also say that that I'm one of those who approve of his handling as well.

In contrast to the approval ratings, that still means that 28% of the population disagrees with how he's doing. I wonder what makes them not like what he's been doing. I can't really think of anything that he's done other than the super impressive vaccine rollout and maybe adding some restrictions to government property mask mandates. Can anyone think of a reason why 28% would disapprove of what he's done so far?

My guess is there's just a certain segment of our population on either side of the aisle who will always "disapprove" of what a President who is from another political party does. We're a pretty divided nation, so I'm actually surprised that those who approve of his handling is as high as it is.

And I am just happy not to have the name of our president on every single headline, every single day, and am enjoying the relative peace and quiet from the White House. For that, I approve.

Beyond that, I don't trust polling any more, sad to say.
