Even though we're a good ways away from the 2024, the 2024 presidential election feels like it's just right around the corner. The past year and a half have been filled with the most stressful elections in history. The fight that went down and everything that happened left alot of people begging for the race to finally be won, by whoever. Everyone just wanted the winner to be picked so they could stop hearing about it constantly. Well now we have the 2024 election and Donald Trump is being as ambiguous about it as possible. I personally don't think he'll run. I don't think he'll want to do it all again after everything that happened the first time. I think everything he's putting out there in regards to a 2024 run is probably for fundraising or just to keep the buzz around him going. I guess we'll find out soon enough, but I wouldn't bank on him running.

2016 taught me to never, ever predict with confidence what will happen in the Presidential election again.

Personally, I think Trump has far more to be concerned about than a potential 2024 run. Prosecutors in New York are zeroing in on him like a killer whale zeroing in on its prey and he could very well be the first President in history to face time in prison. Add in the fact that he is personally on the hook for hundreds of millions of dollars in loans due in part or in full in the coming months and you have a pretty exposed and vulnerable "frontrunner."

I don't think that means Trumpism will go away. He ushered in a new ugly norm in our country and I don't see that going away overnight. But if I were a betting man (which I am not) I would guess he'll tease a run only to make some lame excuse as to why he won't run, but only after making as much money as he can with the teasing.
