President Trump just released a statement on Twitter stating that he has tested positive. I have to say, I have been expecting this for quite some time. There's only so long you can go to/host rallies, interact with and be around media and other large groups, etc before you come into contact with someone who has the virus.
So, what's the plan now? Aside from the fact that Trump has previous conditions that make this a very, very serious issue for him, I wonder what these next few weeks looks like. I think it'd be a stretch to think the debates will go on as planned considering both parties age groups and whatnot.
This certainly throws an already tumultuous election even more up in the air. How these next days and weeks unfold will be determined by how serious of a case he has. His age and underlying health issues certainly aren't in his favor, but one thing he has going for him is that he has the best doctors in the world at his beck and call.
It's hard to even predict what might happen next.
