SSI Recipient with NO Children Still Hasn't Received Check

    Hope someone can help me with this please.

    I have been disabled and receiving SSI since being diagnosed with PTSD, Bipolar, Chronic Depression, Degenerate Disc and Joint Disease after losing my Mom, Dad, Brother, and Sister in 6 months and 6 days all on different days back in 2003. I filed for disability by myself on January 7, 2010 and was approved less than 60 days later. I have been receiving my SSI Benefits via Direct Deposit with the same bank and account number since March 1, 2010. SSI is my only income and is less than $9000 a year. I have no children. Im not required to file taxes B.C. my income is so low. As of today May 1, 2020 I still haven't received the stimulus funds. Every single day since April 12, 2020 the Get My Payment tool states " Payment Status Unavailable". Why haven't I received the check? I know I'm eligible and I do not know what to do or who to contact. This not knowing is really stressful. If I knew when to expect the funds or even that I'm not getting them would be wonderful. The only information I have left to hope for is "Mid-May". What day is Mid-May???

    im in the same boat as you and here it is Sunday 6th do they send checks out on Sundays?

    I'm right with you, I receive ssi set up with direct deposit & have no qualifying children; I have yet to receive my stimulus payment. I previously read that a treasury spokeswoman said recipients of gov benefits such as ssi should receive their payments no later than April 29. It's now May 4, and all I see online is the deadline for ssi, ssdi, va, benefits (etc) to use non-filers tool to enter info for qualifying children is May 5th. I'm very tempted to go ahead and put my direct deposit info in there because I wonder if I'll ever receive it otherwise.

    That is very frustrating. Given that today, May 5th, is the last day to claim SSI/VA dependents on the portal, it seems only logical they will be doing SSI stimulus deposits this week or the following week at the latest.

    Again, that doesn't give you an exact date which would be most helpful. But honestly I don't think they are necessarily going to process everyone's SSI stimulus checks on the same exact dates, and different accounts will likely get them on slightly different days.

    I do know they are supposed to be following the schedule that if you process your IRS portal info by Tuesday, your payment should be available starting the following Saturday.

    If that logic holds up, that means SSI recipients should get their deposits between May 9th and May 15th.

    I think we're all in the same boat. Its pretty silly that we haven't gotten them. We don't file taxes... We get a SS check every month so its shouldn't be a problem depositing our money. If we get a check or direct deposit every month then the IRS should have it kinda easy. Funny how deceased folks have been sent checks but we haven't. Come on IRS.. I'm behind a house payment and my water and electric will probably be shut off really soon. My car is messed up. Damn... Please deposit my 1200. On my direct express card already. Guys I hope they take care of this crap ASAP. I'm sorry y'all.

    They have sent out reports stating they give the checks first to all who have dd.... Then go on to say ... Next is the ppl who make the lowest amt a year... Basically the poorest should get first. If that's the case I should have mine. ... All I get is SSI and that's under 12,000. A year. So where's my payment y'all???? Im poor n need my stimulus.

    Only one thing can be certain with this ADMINISTRATION , NOTHING ! This are the most fouled up operation I ever seen ! I mean accolades to how hard our IRS workers are going ,but Bush sent out 3 stimulus in this amount of time without issues or conflicts ! I gave up and going to start filing bankruptcy till my end ! Every time I spend a decade pulling myself up ,I get kicked back down . I am far to old to buy into this mess any longer ,will just use the best tools at my disposal ,unfortunately it will be bankruptcy for the first time in my life ! Price gouging ,medical cost ,and failing health leave me no option ! I will pay for car ,bank ,food ,utilities and heck with the rest ! I would stick with it ,but there would just be another crisis months down the road !

    Well check this out. They first gave us a April 15 date. They sent it to my tax preparer bank. They rejected it and sent it back. Then two weeks later the did the new update that gave me a date of May 1. Now the dead line for direct deposit was Wednesday by noon. Why when my husband and I checked to see if it was any changes it now said need more information and allowed us to put in our bank info. Now it's saying it will be updating with a date to deposit. I mean it's a put run around. Then that information line is bogus. It answers none of the questions we need to hear. It's needs live ppl since the day they hired 3500 to help. I also have a disabled husband and son and my daughter. This is ridiculous 😠 and NOONE to help you. Ppl will be in the street before they help you. I'm just angry and aggravated.

    I am also still waiting I am on social security and ssi with direct deposit to the same bank I've had for years. I recive around 900 a month but when I try get my payment application it tells me not enought information or you may not qualify.

    For heavens sake I'm almost 70 years old but just don't understand why my checks get deposited every month like clockwork but this check I need so bad can't be. I'm also homeless and the mailbox service I had for years shut down. So now I have no address. Want to buy a truck and trailer so I can see some of our great country before I'm not able to. Or even just a truck so I don't have to live in a field. This money could help me to get back up on my feet. but instead I'm still waiting.

    If you are still having trouble with GET MY PAYMENT then try this:

    1. Put dashes in your Social Security Number ( ex: 123-45-6789)

    2. Go to the following US Postal Service site and enter just your address without the zip code then select Find:

    tools.usps.com/zip-code-lookup.htm?byad...

    This will give you the address on file for you with the USPS. Copy and paste that information to include the 9-digit Zip Code into GET MY PAYMENT. Hopefully this will help those of you that are still having trouble with Get My Payment. It worked for me.
