Was going to check to see if the "Get My Payment" portal would give me any information about when I'm supposed to get my stimulus payment (I'm on SSDI and my monthly payments are direct deposited) and noticed this alert:

"Note: If you receive an SSA or RRB Form 1099 or SSI or VA benefits, your information is not yet available in this application."

Don't recall seeing this before. Hoping this notice will disappear whenever they get around to uploading our information into their system so we can get our money.

The 'Get My Payment' button isn't currently set up to show status updates for anyone receiving those benefits, as the IRS disclaimer says. But it does appear the IRS is on schedule to make stimulus check deposits for Social Security, SSDI and RRB recipients by the end of April, if you recieve your benefits via direct deposit. And SSI recipients should be getting their deposits by the first two weeks of May.

Here's an exert from the Ways and Means Committee Covid-19 Resources page on the Expected Timeline:

At the end of April, adult Social Security retirement, survivor, and disability insurance beneficiaries who did not file tax returns in 2018 or 2019 will receive their rebates if they receive their Social Security benefits via direct deposit. (Nearly 99 percent of beneficiaries use direct deposit.) Treasury has announced that adult SSI recipients will receive their rebate by early May at the latest, in the same way as they receive their normal benefits.

From what I have seen, the IRS should be making SSA (including SSDI) deposits between 4/27 - 5/1. But I haven't seen an exact date yet, and I don't believe they will be updating the portal before then for those receiving those benefits, but it is the IRS, so you never know.

They have stated they will be depositing the stimulus money into whatever account or card you currently get benefits into. Or if you don't have a card or account, by mail, however you currently receive benefits. Here's an exert from the IRS faq page:

I haven’t filed a tax return for 2018 or 2019 and don’t need to file tax returns for those years. I receive Social Security, SSI, or Railroad Retirement benefits. What do I need to do to get a Payment?

You are not required to file a tax return and will automatically receive a $1,200 Payment if you received Social Security retirement, SSDI, survivors benefits, SSI, or Railroad Retirement benefits in 2019. You do not need to contact the IRS, Social Security Administration (SSA), or Railroad Retirement Board (RRB). The IRS will use the information from your 2019 benefits to generate a Payment to you if you did not file tax returns in 2018 or 2019. You will receive your Payment as a direct deposit or by mail, just as you would normally receive your federal benefits.

Did the bank info on the IRS portal match up with the account you checked? They should have provided at least a partial account number of where it was deposited.

It will be automatic for him, unless.. does being his beneficiary mean you claim him as a dependent? If you do, he unfortunately won't be eligible for any stimulus. If you don't, he should get a stimulus auto deposited into his SSI account by end of April or early May at the latest.

I am on ssi and have been getting my benifits dd in the same account since I started receiving them back in 2015. Before I found out that i didn't have to to do the non-fillers form I did it and intered the same dd info that I've been getting my benifits to for 5 years now received the email that it was excepted and when I went back and checked about a hundred times "nr" the numbers are right. But the get my check portal says that my check will be mailed out on May 1to the address they have on file. Is that the same address I use to log in the portal? I'm hoping it is cause I'm not at any of the other addresses I've used in the past plus if they got the address on my app. right why couldn't they use the dd info that my benifits have been going to for five years and direct deposit my check I'm so confused and cannot find an answer anywhere and worried my check is gonna be sent to the wrong address plz somebody read this and have an answer for me.

We are a social security recipient by direct deposit. Unlike most on SS we file a return only because we have a schedule D, never owe taxes and never get a refund and the IRS did not have our bank info. We did go to the IRS site about 3 weeks ago and gave our bank info via their "tool." Numerous articles said social security who get theirs by direct deposit would have the $1200 by April 29th. We have not received it. Our income is under $15,000 so we should be in the 2nd batch of checks. Why have we not received it by direct deposit? Thanks.

I applied for disability in January 2010 and was approved. I started receiving my SSI Benefits via Direct Deposit on March 1, 2010. I still have and use the same bank and account number. I'm not married. I do not have children. SSI is my only source of income that totals less than $9000 a year. That being said, why haven't I received the stimulus check? Im sure many other individuals are in the same boat and left questioning all of the eligibility requirements and scheduled methods of payments and dates. IRS STATES: All that receive SSI will receive payment, those who make less than $10,000 a year will get paper checks 1st....etc...why haven't we received the stimulus check? Why haven't they told us an exact date? If you are disabled person like myself who lives on a fixed income that is less than $700 a month then you truly know how important this extra money really means. Why haven't these issues been addressed?
