    So I entered my direct deposit info in the IRS Portal on Wednesday for the stimulus check. It was accepted, and I received a message that my info had been processed. I have logged in once a day since Thursday for updates and when it will hit my bank account and keep getting this message:

    sa.www4.irs.gov/irfof-wmsp/lockedOut

    My info is correct, and I only check once a day. All of a sudden, after my info was accepted, I get this? Maybe ot hasn't been processed yet? Has anyone else seen this?

    The IRS portal is giving a lot of error messages, and has a lot of glitches and issues right now. The IRS has said if you updated your info successfully with the portal they will do direct deposits the following week, if you did it by Thursday. So regardless of what the site is currently showing for your status, you should expect a deposit between April 20th and April 24th.

    You can still continue to check, but you might not find correct info for some days. Best to just check your bank account daily, and if you don't get a deposit by the 24th, that's when you should be concerned there is an actual issue. For now, you should be fine.

    Thanks so much! I was getting concerned since there's been so much confusion over all of this.

    I haven't filed a tax return for 20 years due to my health and disability. Will I still be able to get a stimulus check on my SSI??

    Yes. SSI recipients will be getting stimulus checks automatically direct deposited into the accounts they currently receive benefits during the first two weeks of May.

    @Chelsey @Mistye16

    We have another thread that already addresses your questions. Visit page 3 on this thread to see the post I made on this. Hope that helps.

    When will those who used the "IRS Portal" get their deposits?

    I entered my bank account information via the non-filers portal on 4/10/2020 and received an email informing me that the IRS had accepted my return. But, I still have not received my stimulus payment yet and, every time I check the "get my payment" link, it tells me that the IRS is unable to determine my eligibility at this time!!!

    However, according to the CARES ACT, anyone with a valid social security number who is not claimed by someone else as a dependent is eligible!

    I also entered mine but on March 21st. The portal was open but a lot of ppl didn't know it. Everyone was waiting on that said date it was supposed to be active. My DD account is active because I use it. It is through TurboTax though. I don't understand why I am being told I will receive a check. My husband gets SSI disability and he also is being told he will get a check.

    I having the same problem. I filed my 2018 federal taxes on time and received a refund with the provided bank information. I filed my 2019 federal taxes on time but owed 700.00 so I did not provide my direct deposit information since I owed. I’ve checked the status daily but continue to receive the message that the IRS does not have any matching information or bank account information. The system will not let me update my bank information and continues to lock me out. I’m hoping the IRS will use my bank info from my 2018 taxes. Anyone have have the similar situation?

    I entered my bank information last Wednesday and still continue to receive this status. What does it mean? Anyone else? If you did, has it been resolved and how did it end?

    "You are eligible for the payment. Once we have your payment date, we will update this page.

    We will deposit your payment in the bank account below."

    The bank account is the one I gave the week prior.
