Certifying the stimulus check

    On the next certification for unemployment (EDD CAL), do We have to include the stimulus check on our wages or it doesn’t apply when certifying the next weeks?

    The stimulus check is tax free. You can think of it as a no-strings-attached financial "gift," for lack of a better word.

    Thumbs Up Second that. Yeah its technically a tax credit. Nothing that you will have to include as wages for unemployment purposes, or any other tax purposes going forward.

    The $600 weekly and the one payment for $1,200 won’t be certifying on the EDD certifications, right?
