Does anyone know if Anyone living in H.U.D. Housing is eligible for "Internet Essentials" $9.99 per monthly even if they didn't know (were'nt aware) of this Assistance. Why isn't everyone eligible for this H.U.D. Housing Program if they live in the Apartment/House? If the occupants are already paying a Higher price, they should be able to SWITCH to this PROGRAM to help save some of their money! Can anyone help me with an answer?

This is a program that is administered by a private company, so it's not surprising that HUD doesn't inform anyone about it.

I won't advertise for a private company, but if you think you are eligible for the discounted internet rate then I encourage you to contact the company.

This seems to be a great program, but I agree that it shouldn't be advertised on H.U.D.'s website.
