Trump/Clinton's Final Presidential Debate Discussion

    Point of this forum is to talk about what we think will happen in the final debate, then recap and takeaways and whatnot after it airs. (Feel free to chime in below with your thoughts, and excuse the preamble below if you've been following all the headlines recently.)

    Since the 2nd debate, a multitude of women have come forward to accuse Donald Trump of unwanted sexual advances or sexual harassment. As well as a slew of other scandals that have re-surfaced with all kinds of reporters looking through his past. He has said the election is 'rigged', denied dozens of allegations, and distanced himself even further from his party.

    On the other side though, it hasn't all been quiet. Clinton has had hundreds of documents surface via a recent Wiki Leaks dump about her campaign and much more (Podesta emails), and many conspiracy theory-minded out there have even 'found evidence' of her trying to divert attention away from her plans to basically fester up a potential WW3. Something to do with Russia? Or something like that.

    Regardless of the truth and validity to the claims stacked against Trump or Hilary at this point, it hasn't been the best week or so for either candidate. And while my summary of Clinton's email leaks might have you jumping up and down, saying I got it wrong.. I honestly haven't even looked into it too much. Just skimmed headlines and am echoing obnoxiously loud facebook postings I have seen about the situation thus far.

    That illustrates my point though. Those entrenched against either candidate have had so much fodder to embolden their views for the other candidate, it's certainly not funny. And literally, no one is laughing about any of this anymore.

    How do you think Clinton or Trump will try to change voter's minds in this last debate? Or will they even bother? Perhaps they will just both urge people to vote against the other, claiming how horrible they will be for the country. That's my guess.

    I think it honestly breaks down to this simple question - Will Trump be able to goad Secretary Clinton into a no holds barred blood bath or will she be able to stay on message and keep her cool? She has nothing to gain and much to lose by sinking to his level.

    She has yet to be really goated. It's all been the other way around. Though I don't think that will matter as much as how hard either candidate will try to goat the other. When you do that, you leave yourself considerably open to a quick (and very headline quotable) retort.

    " 'Cause you'd be in jail."

    Not the smartest comeback on Trump's part. But one of the more memorable lines from that debate. Perhaps THE most memorable.

    It's not possible to address this for 4 years now, but I really would like for the moderator to have the ability to mute mics, when things get out of hand. That was hard to watch, with both candidates talking over each other so many times. And they kept talking louder, thinking the other would shut up. Never happened. Even the moderator tried to jump in a few times, and it was just 3 people talking loudly at the same time. Chaos, and annoying.

    Aside from that, I really hate when candidates don't get forced to address the actual question asked. They should be warned that if they don't answer the question at all, and instead talk about whatever they want, that they will be penalized somehow. Like the other candidate gets to talk uninterrupted about whatever they want, for 2 minutes or something like that.

    I am specifically referring to Trump being asked about entitlement reform, and instead he answered only talking about Obamacare and trade and NAFTA. Made zero sense. Then Hilary answers the question straight up, and Trump then interrupts her, saying she is 'a nasty woman'.

    We can referee debates far better than that circus last night. That was embarrassing.
