President Obama is preparing to deliver his seventh and final State of the Union Address to a joint session of Congress that looks dramatically different than it did when he was first elected in 2008.
The President has given a few hints about what he will be talking about tonight by saying he will be focusing much of the speech on discussing the past seven years and his vision for the future of America after he leaves office in early 2017. That vision will be largely dependent on who becomes his successor when he hands over the keys to the White House.
I'm looking forward to hearing what the President has to say tonight and am interested in what his vision for the future of America might be. I'm also interested to find out if his vision comes to fruition or not. Only time will tell with that.
I'm really looking forward to his speech. It sounds like he won't spend much time asking Congress for things he knows they won't give him and instead focus on giving a speech about what he wants America to be like moving forward.
