When one searches for Welfare programs, it usually involves sifting through lists upon lists of vague titles and convoluted government jargon. Then why not take a glance at this one stop shop for all things related to government assistance? For those seeking benefits, benefits.gov is a good source. There, one can browse by program category, state and agency. It also provides news and updates on what is going on with programs out there. Another cool feature is the benefit finder in the top right hand corner. By filling out the questionnaire, it will direct you to the programs you may be eligible for. Also, check out this link as well. It shows you how to apply for benefits, as well as breaks down each program, and who is eligible for them. Many programs which could benefit you, are just a few clicks away. The trick is to stay informed. So, let's dive in, shall we?
