Watching the Democratic National Convention

The 2016 Democratic National Convention is being held in Philadelphia July 25-28 and you can live-stream every minute of it on your computer or other compatible device.

Democrats will be airing wall to wall coverage on the official Democratic National Committee's YouTube Channel. They will have a live stream and also post individual speeches in case you missed a certain speaker. C-Span will also be airing all convention proceedings on cable television and also be providing a live stream for web viewers. CNN will also be airing non-stop coverage of the convention for cable viewers, but will also be including commentary of each days events.

The full list of speakers speaking at the convention has not yet been released, but there are many big names in both the political and non-political field slated for prime time speeches.

  • Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) - Keynote speaker
  • Senator Corey Booker (D-NJ)
  • First Lady Michelle Obama
  • Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) - Runner up to Secretary Clinton in the Democratic Primary
  • Sen. Jeff Merkley (D-OR), Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN), and Rep. Raúl Grijalva (D-AZ) - Politicians who endorsed Bernie Sanders in the Democratic primary
  • Gov. Dan Malloy (D-CT) - Chair of the Democratic Governors Association
  • "Mothers of the Movement" - Mothers of children who have been killed by gun violence and at the hands of police
  • Astrid Silva - DREAMer and social activist who was brought to the United States at the age of 4
